Cookie Policy

Buildarith offers optional analytics cookies through Google Analytics 4 (GA4). These analytics cookies are not required to use the site or its calculators.

On your first visit, the cookie banner lets you choose either "Accept analytics" or "Reject." When analytics is configured, GA4 loads only after you select "Accept analytics." If you select "Reject," GA4 does not load.

Your analytics choice is stored locally in your browser using localStorage under the key buildarith-cookie-consent. Its value is either accepted or rejected. If the key is absent, no choice has been saved and the banner is shown.

Buildarith does not save calculator inputs or results in localStorage or sessionStorage. They are held only in the page's temporary memory while you use a calculator and are normally cleared when the page is reloaded or closed.

If you accept analytics and GA4 is configured, Buildarith loads GA4 to measure page views. GA4 may then set analytics cookies. Buildarith does not load GA4 before you make a choice or after you reject analytics.

Ordinary technical requests may still pass through the infrastructure that hosts and delivers the website; that is not implemented as browser storage by Buildarith.

Most browsers let you inspect, block, and delete cookies and other site data through privacy or site-settings controls. You may also configure a browser to reject cookies by default.

Deleting Buildarith's local site data removes the saved analytics choice, so the banner will be shown again on a later visit. Blocking browser storage may prevent the choice from being saved.

We may update this Cookie Policy if the site's storage practices change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version.
