By accessing or using Buildarith, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Buildarith is free to use and does not require registration or a paid subscription.

You may use Buildarith for lawful personal, educational, and business planning purposes, including comparing materials and preparing preliminary project estimates. You may print or save your own results for those purposes.

You may not:

• use the site in violation of applicable law;
• interfere with the site, bypass security measures, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
• introduce malicious code or use automated traffic that unreasonably burdens the service;
• misrepresent Buildarith content or results as a certified professional takeoff, approval, or guarantee; or
• copy, republish, or exploit substantial parts of the site except as permitted by law or with permission.

The Buildarith name, site design, original text, graphics, calculator interfaces, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the site or its content. General mathematical facts and formulas remain subject to any rights and exceptions that apply to them.

Calculator results are approximate estimates for planning and comparison. Results depend on the formula, assumptions, unit conversions, rounding, waste allowance, and inputs used. Actual quantities and costs can differ because of materials, project details, site conditions, installation methods, supplier packaging, and local requirements.

You are responsible for entering accurate measurements, choosing appropriate units and assumptions, and checking results. Before buying materials or starting work, verify quantities, dimensions, prices, product specifications, site conditions, and applicable permits, codes, and other requirements.

Using Buildarith does not create an engineer-client, architect-client, contractor-client, attorney-client, financial-adviser, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. The site does not provide engineering, architectural, construction, legal, safety, or financial advice.

Buildarith integrates optional Google Analytics 4 page-view analytics only after analytics consent. It does not integrate advertising, payments, accounts, or embedded content. The site may add links to independent websites for reference. Buildarith does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, terms, privacy practices, products, or availability.

We may update, correct, add, suspend, or remove calculators, content, or site features at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every feature will remain available.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Buildarith is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, accurate, secure, or suitable for a particular project. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so part of this section may not apply to you.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Buildarith will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, material shortages, excess purchases, project delays, or costs arising from use of or inability to use the site. Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited remains subject to applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Buildarith harmless from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the site or others, respond to unlawful or abusive conduct, or enforce these Terms. You may stop using Buildarith at any time.

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without designating a particular state or country whose law must apply. Any mandatory rights or rules available where you live remain unaffected.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Buildarith or applicable requirements. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Buildarith does not currently publish a contact email, telephone number, or postal address. If a public contact channel is added, it will be identified on the site.
