Concrete Calculation Example: 20 × 20 ft Slab
Follow a 20 × 20 ft slab with an illustrative 4 in thickness from cubic feet to cubic yards, allowance, and quarter-yard order rounding.
Introduction
This example answers one narrow planning question: what volume does a 20 ft × 20 ft slab occupy when the illustrative thickness is 4 in? The 4 in value is an example assumption, not a recommendation for a driveway, patio, foundation, or any other use. Thickness must come from the project design.
